Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled IoT Engineer to design, develop, and maintain IoT solutions that connect hardware devices to software platforms. The ideal candidate has experience with microcontrollers, sensors, communication protocols, and cloud integration to build scalable and secure IoT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy IoT hardware and software solutions.
Work with microcontrollers such as ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other IoT boards.
Integrate various sensors (IMU, motion, IR, etc.) and actuators for real-time data collection and control.
Implement wireless communication protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa, NFC, etc.).
Develop firmware and embedded software for IoT devices.
Connect IoT devices to cloud platforms for data storage, analytics, and monitoring.
Debug hardware-software integration issues and optimize system performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers).
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and user manuals.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded systems (ESP8266, ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
Experience in C, C++, Python, or JavaScript for embedded programming.
Familiarity with IoT communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, DDS).
Experience with sensor integration and signal processing.
Understanding of cloud platforms and IoT dashboards.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Knowledge of PCB design, interfacing, and hardware prototyping is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Basic knowledge of embedded systems and microcontrollers (ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
Understanding of C/C++ or Python programming.
Familiarity with sensors and hardware interfacing.
Basic knowledge of electronic circuits and PCB design tools (KiCad or similar).
Understanding of communication protocols like UART, I2C, SPI, MQTT, or HTTP.
Interest in IoT systems and real-time data monitoring.
Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills for hardware and software.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or related field.
Certifications in IoT or embedded systems are a plus.
