Mastercard looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Software Engineer to join team that will be tasked to build a product for Customer onboarding, Customer Performance Management, Risk Monitoring, and Transaction Monitoring.

Skill Set :

1. Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, C++ etc.
2. Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures and core computer science concepts.
3. Basic understanding and knowledge of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies.
4. Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to function under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
5. Strong communication skills — both verbal and written.
6. Able to quickly learn and implement new technologies, application appropriate frameworks and tools.
7. Strong relationship, collaborative skills and organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation
8. Able to work as a member of matrix based diverse and geographically distributed project team.
9. Willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities.

Job Description :

1. Support software engineering through programming, testing, implementation, documenting and delivery of software solutions
2. Researches alternative technical solutions for changing business needs.
3. Responsible for programming, testing, implementation, documentation, maintenance and support of systems application software in adherence with MasterCard standards, processes and best practices.
4. Develop high quality, secure, scalable software solutions based on technical requirements specifications and design artifacts within expected time and budget.
5. Research, create and evaluate technical solution alternatives for the business needs.
6. Create systems and testing documentation per department standards.
7. Follow standards in development and testing to ensure compliance with Audit Requirements.
8. Follow MasterCard Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.
9. Support collection and reporting of project and software metrics.
10. Actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency.
